My name is Andrew Luly and I am a geek. I am 25 years old and just finished my Masters at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I now have my Masters of Science in Information Technology focusing on web development, ActionScript, and
databases. I now work for Mindspark
doing ActionScript and front end web programming.
I received my baccalaureate from Buffalo State College, and was 90% done with my degree in Elementary Education when I decided that it was not for me, and changed majors to Computer Information Systems. I had always been computer savvy; however it was at this stage in my life I decided to make it my livelihood.
I currently live in Westchester, NY. In the little spare time I have I hang out at coffee bars, play video games, relax with my friends, listen to music, watch movies etc. I crochet even though I hate wearing crocheted items. Generally I give them away to friends or donate them to homeless shelters. I listen to a lot of music. Lately I have been listening to mainly house, light electric, trance and dance. I like it because usually there are few words to focus on, and a lively beat to keep you going.
I am generally not a blogger, however, recently I am doing more and more of it. I am trying to get in to the habit of posting more just to spread my thoughts and ideas, this can be found at http://constipatedKoala.andrewluly.com.
